Also called maintenance cartridges, these are used for 'Parking' your edible printer when it won't be used for a while and prevent any ink from drying up in your printhead which will help prevent blockages and keep your prints looking good.
To use, you just take out your current cartridges, put these ones in and perform a cleaning cycle in your printer's maintenance settings. You can then leave the cartridges in until you want to use the printer again. Before swapping back to your normal cartridges, perform a head clean. Once you swap back to your normal cartridges perform another head clean and print a nozzle check onto a sheet of plain, normal paper to make sure the ink is flowing and ready to print.
